Selling Out to the Chinese
Pat Choate, an economist, is director of the Manufacturing Policy Project,
a Washington DC public policy institute. He is author of six books, including
Agents of Influence (Knopf, 1990). In 1996, Choate was chosen by Ross Perot
to be the reform party's vice presidential candidate.
Washington - China wants whatever is necessary
to be a world power, a least equal to the United States. And it is working
toward this goal with the assistance of an influential political network
based in the US.
