Mohaham Khatami is the reformist president of Iran. His remarks here are adapted from an address in late March to intellectuals at the European University oustide of Florence, Italy. Like Pope John Paul II, Khatami is a trained philosopher.

Fiesole - Dialogue is not a property of those who think they are the sole proprietors of truth. Rather, truth reveals its beautiful but covered face only to those wayfarers who are bound on a journey of discover hand in hand with others.
