Boston - Events since the 1960s have made it abundantly
clear that one of the worst ideas advocated during that tumultuous decade
was the slogan that the personal was the political. Yet of all the ideas
spawned at that time, this one seems not only to have survived, but to
have spread to some unlikely places.
