Bonn - The market needs a politically regulated framework. The same principles of the "social market" and "ecological market" model that apply to the national framework should also apply to international economic realtions - that is, a free market system regulated in accord with social and environmental responsibility. My plea for internatational cooperation is not just utopian. A few years ago, the European single market also seemed to be an unrealizable vision. Now it is a reality.
