Win McCormack


Win McCormack is a major magazine publisher in Oregon and the president of McCormack Communications. In the 1960s, McCormack created Mother Jones. In the 1970s, Oregon Magazine was created by McCormack. Among his other feats in publishing are financially assisting Oregon Business Magazine in the 1980s, and most recently, creating the literary journal Tin House. The journal was officially launched in April of 1999 at the BookExpo America in Los Angeles.
